Counselling with Skype

I am available for counselling via Skype or other internet visual call systems. Skype counselling is very close in many ways to counselling that you would have if your were in my office.

In order to have a good Skype experience you would need a high speed internet connection. Ideally your computer would be hooked up to a cable, as opposed to wirelessly. You would need a good camera and microphone, which could be tested in the first appointment.

To make counselling by Skype effective, you also need to be able to be in a room or part of your house or office where you have privacy assured and where you know you will not be interrupted. You need to feel safe to feel and explore the things you wish to talk about.

If you wish to sign up for Skype counselling, I would send you the forms via email and I would ask that you be able to pay for your first session in advance, $140.00 CAD, by at least twenty four hours, or at the very least before the appointment. If you have not done this and still wish to go ahead with the appointment, we could take the first few minutes to set it up and process the payment.
